Areva Federal Services - Federal Way, WA

Areva Federal Services had two unique work areas in their new office.  A very distinct angle made fitting standard office furniture in the space impossible.  Working with Areva, we were able to come up with the perfect design based on the way the staff will be working and functioning in the space.

We designed and manufactured custom workstations that fit into their irregular spaces perfectly and matched existing finishes.   A seamless and coordinating addition to their new office.

Washington Dental Service

Delta Dental called on Choices Northwest at first to help them with unique needs for a single office, then,  to help them create more storage in an area.  We gladly obliged and continued to deliver above and beyond their expectations in quality and, most importantly, in service.  We partnered with them to create solutions to their most pressing challenges.

Delta Dental chooses to work with Choices Northwest for our ability to problem solve and create new ideas to meet their office furniture needs. We have already customized for them, not just private offices, but also mailing, storage, lobby, conference areas and even lunch rooms.

All newly hired Delta Dental executives get to be actively involved in designing their own office. This requires special attention to their personal furniture needs. It involves space planning and offering ideas that may improve what they want.   We have been able to provide custom solutions to go with the wood veneer products they prefer which allows them flexibility and helps them stay within their corporate aesthetic.

We have since grown our partnership to include full departmental remodeling efforts to increase productivity and enhance employee morale and foster teamwork.  Below are examples of concepts we created for redesigning their sales department.

Delta Dental also provides companies that sublet space in their building with space planning and workstations. They choose to use Choices Northwest for meeting these office furniture needs. Our ability to meet unexpected shorter lead times and still provide custom options where needed, makes us their go-to partner.  Our most recent sublease project was for Healthentic. We provided, delivered and installed 15 new cubicles, 3 private offices, 1 large and 1 small conference rooms as well as 46 task & conference chairs within a 3 week lead time.

Choices Northwest has been a furniture partner with Delta Dental for projects as far away as Spokane & Colville Washington. This included long distance space planning, delivery and installation as well as follow up problem solving.

EZ Access

EZ-Access wanted to have a unique, modern office space.  We custom-made multiple height panels with different sized segments of fabric and glass.  We created a common height six inch segment on the panels that tied the whole thing together.

This concept created a feel of a frame and tile system at a much lower cost, saving the customer thousands of dollars.

Valley Medical Center

Valley Medical Center needed to move their entire IT department which included 40 workstations, 42 private offices, 4 conference rooms, 1 training room and a lunchroom. The entire project had 8 weeks from the day we first spoke with them to the time people needed to move in.

There was very little budget to work with for the project and the aim was to keep costs to a minimum. Within a matter of weeks,  we were able to source a used inventory of cubicles to fit this project perfectly. The furniture would be needed only for 2 to 3 years so this solution made sense.   Not only were we able to meet their incredibly short timeline, we also saved them approximately $60,000.00 with a used solution instead of buying new.

Standardized Workstations for the IT Department

We created a unique workstation to accommodate a very specific need.

World Vision

Choices Northwest was invited by World Vision to bid on what they call their “Revitalization Project”.  This project required that we not only refurbish their existing panel systems, but modify them as well.  Choices Northwest also manufactured new panels and worksurfaces to accommodate their current design and layout.

We modified their low panels by adding glass stackers to the top.  These stackers had to be disassembled and refitted with a custom reeded glass, specified by them, and then reassembled and added to the panels.  The look was fantastic.  It provided visual privacy while allowing light transfer throughout the floors.

Choices Northwest painted all of their lateral files in our painting facility to match the systems furniture.  We had custom sized magnetic white boards made and applied hardware so that they could be mounted on the panels' hanger frame system.

This has been an ongoing project spanning the last five years and hundreds of stations.  See what they think about working with Choices Northwest.

DHL

This was a complex LEED certification project which coordinated the consolidation of three physical locations, in two different states, into one common facility.  The project required the re-use of some existing cubicles from both states, as well as making refurbished furniture to match. The challenge here was that the fabric on the existing furniture was a discontinued proprietary fabric.  We were able to source a supplier for this fabric and complete the match. New seating, filing and casegoods were purchased, and furniture was custom made for conferencing, training room and cafeteria settings.

Training Room tables were custom made utilizing a UL listed electrical and cable system that allowed for modular reconfiguration and pop up access at table top.  Conference tables had to be made to match Global’s Zira and Bungee systems, and incorporate custom half round metal bases. We also installed multiple computer and audio/visual access at each end of the tables.  Cafeteria tables were made in various non-standard shapes and sizes to maximize seating capacity while conforming to ADA requirements.

All of these processes had to adhere to the LEED certification requirements in order for DHL to achieve their LEED goals for the new space.  Click here to see what DHL thinks about working with us.
